We are seeking to recruit to the new position of HR Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing Partner to work with the HR team, the EDI team and colleagues across the University to embed an EDI approach within AUB’s People Plan and HR Policies, ensuring that the EDI agenda is inherently considered and applied in our working practices.

You will work with the EDI team to develop and implement a contemporary and future focused EDI approach to support the University’s mission, aims and objectives with regards to equality, diversity and inclusion.  This will include a clear institutional identity and culture for EDI within AUB, promoting equality as a key theme and leading on the delivery of supporting activities, via employee engagement methods, developing and maintaining the knowledge and confidence of all staff in EDI.

You will also develop, introduce and maintain an ongoing wellbeing programme for AUB staff which delivers innovative, engaging and measurable interventions to enhance employee wellbeing, engagement, resilience and performance; helping to drive employee satisfaction and, in turn, organisational success.

With a need to have a flexible and proactive approach, working within an agile and innovative working environment. They will be an excellent communicator and influencer with a strong customer focused approach, who can think laterally to adapt their professional knowledge and experience to the context of the University and its stakeholders.  You will be passionate about the transformative power of higher education, and will be keen to adopt innovative approaches to eliminate inequality and promote diversity and inclusion across the whole University community.
