The successful candidate will have an appropriate HR qualification and have worked as a leader in a large complex organisation.  They will be equipped with the skills to develop a coaching network so as to ensure that the city fully benefits from the experience, knowledge and skills of our people for the benefit of the City and its people.  

We are proud to be an investor in people, however we also know we can improve on our current status and this will be a key indicator of success in this job.  Leading a team of around 60+ staff you will need to have demonstrated that you can support and encourage personal development in those you manage to improve their career opportunities.  

Working alongside the senior leadership team you will develop the people strategy and plans to support a transformation agenda.
