Requirement for a full time HR Administrator paying up to 22k pro rata. 3 month assignment, office based.

A not for profit organisation located in the city centre that specialises in the support of individuals who have been subject to abuse. Fighting the good fight, this organisation is friendly and supportive, offering a lovely working environment.

Your new role
We are looking for someone to join this fabulous organisation for an exciting and varied role which will be full-time, Monday - Friday (37 hours a week) and for a 3 month period, office based.

Duties to look like:

* Provide an effective Human Resources administration service relating to the employment lifecycle
* To be the primary contact and systems administrator for queries on our Cascade HR system
* First point of contact for HR queries coming in to the dept.
* Issuing and updating employee documentation including, contracts, sickness, recruitment paper work, new starter packs
* Reporting regularly on key HR metrics e.g. sickness absence, staff turnover and workforce demographics
* Preparation of the monthly payroll e.g. over time and expense claims, sickness absence, changes to hours/salary etc
* Administration and coordination of the end to end recruitment process including: uploading adverts to jobs boards, updating the website, arranging interviews, facilitating testing, job offers, references, DBS checks, right to work etc.
* Leaver administration
* Ensure the HR Database accurately reflects current staff conditions and details. This includes inputting starters and leavers, contractual amendments, change of details, annual leave and recording of sicknesses and other leave.
* Minute taker at HR meetings


What you'll need to succeed
No HR qualifications are required however you will have HR admin experience; ideally you will have also worked with Cascade, however HR Admin experience with a good understanding of databases and process will be accepted.

* Experience in HR administration and an understanding of HR processes
* Understanding of HR software systems such as People soft, breathHR, Cascade, IRIS HR or similar
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including, word, excel, power point, etc.
* General understanding of employment law and legislation
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
* Interpersonal with good communicative skills
* The ability to work independently and problem solve
* Ability to work well under pressure to deadlines
