Diverse Academies Trust is a 14-school academy trust. It seeks applicants with education leadership, corporate/charity governance, legal and/or HR skills, to join its board. Meetings are held in Retford when safe to do so.

The Academy Ambassadors programme brings the expertise of the business world onto boards at multi-academy trusts (MATs) throughout the country to raise standards of education and improve the life chances of young people, which is critical to our social and economic success.

The opportunity

Diverse Academies Trust has fourteen schools in total, including six primary and six secondary academies together with two special schools which are spread across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The board seeks to recruit trustees/non-executive directors who together will have a range of skills to support and add capacity to the current broad skillset of the board. Ideally new trustees will have skills in one or more of: education leadership, corporate/charity governance, legal and/or HR. Board meetings are held at Retford, Nottinghamshire when safe to do so, but will be conducted remotely for the immediate future.
