HR Specialist - Job Structure Change Project

Your new company

Public Body Organisation embarking upon an exciting change transformation project are seeking to appoint a HR specialist to support a job design and recruitment & selection review project, based from their Manchester location (with flex / hybrid working) on a fixed term contract basis.

Your new role

In this exciting newly created role you will have the opportunity to significantly impact upon the wider change and transformation programmes currently being introduced across the organisation covering 4 main areas - Culture & Leadership, Strategy & Mission, Processes and Skills & Expertise. You'll work closely alongside the Change Manager and lead specifically on a review of job structures and job families with a view to enabling a improved, agile ways of working within the organisation. You'll develop and introduce job descriptions, job families and review and develop grades to streamline and simplify for greater transparency and clarity for colleagues and prospective new employees.
You'll utilise your expertise in job design and development, OD , recruitment & selection practices and strategy to deliver a value added project working across the organisation in a collaborative and proactive manner. There will also be opportunity to be involved in a related candidate attraction and employer value proposition development


What you'll need to succeed

CIPD & HR Qualification
Proven prior experience of delivering HR change projects on time & on budget
Strong knowledge of job design & attraction
Experience drafting job descriptions
Capability to analyse business model and create job families
Strong confident communication skills
Effective stakeholder management & influencing skills
Trade Union Engagement Experience
Hays Evaluation Methodology experience advantageous
