Your new company
The Nursing and Midwifery Council are recruiting for an HR Business Partner on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. The role is paying £55,000-£61,000 per annum and will start ASAP. Interviews will take place on 11th and 12th August, with a start date of 30th August 2021. As the professional regulator of nurses and midwives in the UK, and nursing associates in England, the Nursing and Midwifery Council work to ensure these professionals have the knowledge and skills to deliver consistent, quality care that keeps people safe. We're a high-profile organisation with an extremely important mission: better and safer care. From Professional Standards to People and Organisational Effectiveness our departments have very different responsibilities but they all play a vital role in helping to achieve this goal. The environment we work in is fast-paced and we're constantly responding to changes in politics and society as a whole.

Your new role
Reporting to the Head of HR and working within a very supportive team, you will support a client group of 280 staff, across 2 Directorates (People and OD Team and Resourcing Team). This is a generalist HRBP role, requiring high touch support to your Managers and stakeholders, alongside supporting significant change and restructure, including the movement of 88 staff into a new team, then restructuring and designing new structures. You will also advise on workforce planning and establishment for your Directorates, and oversee the HR Advisor's casework management, acting as escalation point for any complex cases.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a credible, experienced HR Business Partner, who can inspire confidence and build relationships with a range of stakeholders. You must be available to interview on 11th or 12th August, to start on 30th August 2021.

What you'll get in return
We encourage agile and flexible working where possible and reward staff with a range of benefits.
