6 month Head of HR role paying £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, starting ASAP.

Your new company
The Nursing and Midwifery Council are recruiting for a Head of HR on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will work from home, with some occasional travel to offices in Marylebone. The role is paying £65,000-£75,000 per annum and will start on, or before, 30th August 2021. As the professional regulator of nurses and midwives in the UK, and nursing associates in England, the Nursing and Midwifery Council work to ensure these professionals have the knowledge and skills to deliver consistent, quality care that keeps people safe. Your new role
Reporting to, and supporting the Assistant Director of People and OD, this role is responsible for all HR Operations activity in the organisation and you will oversee the HR function of 15 staff, with line management responsibilities for 6 staff (4 x HR BP's, Reward BP and HR Ops Team Manager). You will also be responsible for the HR Ops budget. The role will be required to work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, taking the lead on all operational HR requirements, delivering key HR projects, supporting the Assistant Director of People and OD with the implementation of a our new 5 year people plan, and focusing on reward & recognition. You will present papers and reports at Exec and Board meetings, as well as building successful relationships with stakeholders and Board members.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have managed Pay & Reward and HR Ops functions previously, alongside having budgetary management. You must be resilient during a time of change, with the ability to manage change and manage through change.
