The Position:

Reporting directly to the Regional HR Director, your main accountability will be to manage and deliver a range of key HR processes that impact on business operations, performance and strategy. On a day-to-day basis you will be reporting to the UK Site Executive Officers.

Principal deliverables will include:

  • Development of a single point of contact to provide quality HR policies, systems, procedures and working practices, ensuring consistent and meaningful advice is provided at all times.
  • Building of credible relationships across the business to underpin positive inputs to key organisation development and management issues.
  • Supporting the integration of new business acquisitions
  • Implementation of quantifiable compensation and benefit strategies, including the empowerment of line management in terms of appraisal and performance measurement.
  • Development of effective recruitment, retention and development initiatives.
  • Responsibility for basic HR administrative processes

The Person:

Graduate level, CIPD qualified and with a minimum of 7 years professional experience, you will combine energy and strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied and demanding work load. Excellent attention to detail will be crucial, as well as the ability to think creatively and act on your own initiative.

  • Exceptional partnering, consulting, communication and project management skills.
  • Solid exposure to job analysis, evaluation and pay and benefit schemes.
  • Workday software experience is a must or at least highly desirable.
  • The ability to successfully lead on key organisation changes.
  • Proven employee relations experience, able to apply and develop strategies that meet UK employment legislation.
  • Background in a commercial/industrial environment, strong business acumen.
  • Able to travel as required to other sites in the UK and, occasionally, to Germany.
