Your new company
We have a really exciting new senior level HR role available to join one of our clients who are a well known and recognisable service led business across Greater Manchester. The organisation currently do have about 1000 employees with a large bulk of the workforce being more blue collar type environment. Due to internal changes within the organisation they are looking to appoint an experienced HRBP to join their amazing HR team which consists of 8 other people in various different roles.

Your new role
The HRBP responsibilities will provide a full generalist senior level HRBP approach to half of the business c500 employees and will work closely with the HR Director to support and transform their organisation in a period of growth and change. The role will have it's normal day to day challenges and employee relations issues however there is also a great people plan to implement and work through which will include somebody being involved and onboard with various projects. Some of these projects include Diversity and inclusion, engagement, communication, social /community engagement and responsibilities, talent management & forward planning resourcing and talent, learning & development. You will be supported by a number of key members of the HR team and help to drive the agenda forward into your business area . You will build and maintain a relationships to facilitate delivery of all business plan activities and support operational excellence and safety initiatives. As well as general day to day and projects you will have a lot of involvement with the unions for the organisation and build excellent relationships with them too in order to achieve business goals and objectives without too much resistance.




What you'll need to succeed

The client is looking for a senior level qualified HR candidate who has operated at this level previously and partnered various business areas supporting people agendas and change programmes. Candidates must have a real breadth of experience to support everything that the business is trying to achieve. In terms of culture they are looking for somebody who is really resilient, somebody who has excellent relationship skills and somebody who is able to be a positive person and really influence key stakeholders who may need to be brought onboard from time to time so somebody also with patience.
