Contract: Open Ended/Full time or Part time considered
Salary: £50,702 per annum/pro rata

Overview
Our HR function plays a pivotal role in achieving UKRI’s vision. Following a comprehensive review and in full consultation with all key stakeholders, we are implementing a new HR Target Operating Model to transform the way we work, with a focus on strengthening our strategic business partnering capability, modernizing HR operational services and building up our expertise in areas such as careers and talent management, EDI, and leadership development.
We are seeking to recruit a Wellbeing Lead, who will provide strategic direction on wellbeing best practice to all levels of UKRI, reviewing national trends and benchmarking with external partners as well as representing UKRI externally on wellbeing forums to bring the best wellbeing initiatives into UKRI.
The position
In this role, you will lead wellbeing initiatives across UKRI and its Councils, as well as coach and enable leaders and managers to develop a healthy and happy workforce. As the lead expert, you will deliver and support wellbeing strategies, frameworks and approaches across UKRI.
Skills, knowledge and experience required
- University degree in HR or Organisation Development or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Experience in a lead wellbeing role
- Experience of designing evidence-based wellbeing initiatives and diagnostic assessments
- Project and programme management skills and experience
- Supplier management experience
- Excellent Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Empathetic and collaborative leadership and communication style.
