Senior HR Advisor – 12 month FTC - c£40k – home based
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join this market leading organisation on a 12 month FTC to cover for maternity leave - an immediate start can be accommodated.
The role has a flexible working arrangement – you will be home based with occasional on site meetings .
Key Accountabilities include:
Looking after the life cycle of an employee, being a point of contact and reference for employees and managers.
To ensure that deadlines are met effectively & efficiently
Review, develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with new legislation and case law.
To resolve employee relations issues before a formal process is instigated.
Assist in developing policies and procedures, ensure business leaders understand and comply with the policies.
Monitoring and reviewing employee absence and working with the senior leadership team on ways to reduce absence trends and rates.
Liaise with professional advisors as well as providing admin support in areas such as OH, employee benefits, wellbeing, pensions, payroll and H&S / Insurance claims.
Responsible for the data retained by the HR & payroll department, ensuring its accuracy and producing electronic reports.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR Advisor who is studying or qualified to CIPD level 5 or 7 (or equivalent), ideally having worked in a unionised manufacturing environment and who is available to start at short notice.
Possessing strong administration and organisational skills, prioritising work and working to deadlines.
Microsoft excel skills.
