About the role

It is an exciting time to join Central YMCA. We are ambitious in our plans to make the Charity an amazing place to work. Armed with a new strategy, a new set of values and with our new Chief Resources Officer heading up the HR function, we are looking to shake up our HR Strategy and develop a plan to deliver a meaningful offering to our employees, while promoting an open, transparent, and co-created culture. We are aiming high.

We are looking for a strong HR Manager to join our team of three, delivering an efficient and effective HR Operational support service to all levels of the organisation.

Working alongside a newly created role of L&D Manager and with responsibility for our HR Advisor, you would be involved in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, and Recruitment, ensuring delivery of an efficient and effective end to end HR service.

Section 3: About you

Reporting into our new Chief Resources Officer, you will be an experienced HR Manager, who has excellent employment law knowledge, can advise the Executive team on key employment points and be the main HR Operations go to person within the Organisation.

To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Chartered CIPD status (or working towards it)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including senior stakeholders
  • Solid employment law knowledge
  • Previous experience working at HR Manager level.
