Learning & Development Officer - 2 x roles (1 Full time and 1 Part Time)

Your new company

A large reputable organisation in the public arena, with a great reputation for customer service & support, and internal staff development - are looking to recruit 2 Learning & Development Officers into the L&D function for its exciting new phase.

Your new role

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for the supporting the L&D function by providing an effective support service to learning and development within the organisation including the delivery of qualifications, development programmes and apprenticeships in line with organisational strategy and centre requirements. Also, you will help to develop and deliver a range of appropriate induction and training interventions.

Specifically, you will:
Support the career paths of staff by assisting in the areas of career assessment centres, centre management activities and quality assurance
Deliver a range of other non-operational training
Update and maintain the L&D database and the matrix
Coordinate all L&D activities
Be involved and support with L&D improvements and developments / projects and input within the organisation

NB THERE ARE 2 ROLES - 1 FULL TIME AND 1 PART TIME

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will hold:
Solid Learning and Development administration/coordination experience and background
OR Have a HR administrative/coordination background with a passion for a L&D career OR Be a HR Graduate with some level of experience - and an outgoing and confident manner - looking to develop a L&D career

What you'll get in return
The salary is £22000 to £24000 - dependant on qualifications and experience level. The EXCELLENT benefits package includes:
Flexible working arrangements - can consider compressed hours /4 days a week for the FULL TIME role and 3 or 4 days for the PART TIME role 28 days holiday (prorate for Part Time) - plus the Bank Holidays - rising with service time
37 hours a week for FULL TIME / 0.7 equivalent for PART TIME - but with "flexi" and ability to accrue time off
Local Authority Pension Discount scheme for local services and products

NB This role is flexible as it is HYBRID based at THE OFFICES IN SHEFFIELD and "Work From Home" - 50 to 60% of the time / days in the office.
