Interim Workforce Planning opportunity Good WFH options with a Leeds/Wakefield base

This is a varied and interesting 6 month FTC ( until March 2022 ) working for part of the Health service in a professional & friendly team

1 Collaboratively work closely with the Demand and Capacity Task and Finish Group/ Steering group, relevant stakeholders and the OD team.
2 Develop an overall workforce plan for Operations Services facilitating its creation and delivery in partnership with Service leads and that this will include:

* Identifying requirements for new capability
* Identifying skills that are no longer required

Developing the roadmap to move between existing to new skills requirements in line with our career pathway and a link in with the succession/talent planning framework

* Consistent application of principles - spans of control, role size, job families etc.
* Monitoring and reporting on alignment with these principles.

1 Produce a toolkit, processes or utilise the existing toolkit and training to support Service leads in developing workforce plans
2 Deliver insight into future workforce change to inform people decisions including development of appropriate scenario plans.
3 Produce a skills/gap analysis that illuminates areas of ambiguity that would affect the integrity of a strategic workforce planning exercise.
4 Support Operations and Corporate functions to articulate the required changes in their workforces in alignment with the business plan (2021-2024)
5 Co-ordinate a plan of action to support workforce transition over the planning period; including interventions in policy, governance routines, hiring practices and skills development.
