Trinity Hall is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and organised individual to the post of Director of Human Resources (HR).
Trinity Hall was founded in 1350 and has over 600 students, 60 Fellows and 150 staff. The Director of HR will report to the Junior Bursar and will be responsible for HR matters both for non-academic staff and also for directly employed academic staff (College Teaching Officers).
The successful individual will have excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building and organisational skills. They will also possess deep and broad knowledge of relevant Employment Law and HR best practice and demonstrate their ability to remain current with developments in this rapidly evolving area.
Previous experience in a similar-sized institution is required. The post holder will be involved in further developing the College’s HR and training strategy, as well as the recruitment and retention of dedicated and professional staff. This is a proactive role in a busy department; the ability to prioritise, plan, and work well under pressure is essential.
