Reporting into the Head of Reward, you’ll play a key role in supporting the UK Reward Strategy through providing expertise and consultancy on projects, activity and services relating to pensions, remuneration, incentives, benefits, recognition and other key aspects of reward that will enhance HEINEKEN UK’s ability to recruit, motivate and retain high performing colleagues. What will you be involved in?
You will lead and/or support other projects, initiatives and BAU activity in line with the Reward strategy to meet legislative requirements, ensure continuous improvement, address areas of concern or to exploit opportunities to maximize the return of the Company’s reward investment. You will use Reward expertise and experience to educate and up-skill functional colleagues, business managers, employee representatives and the wider colleague population and through building relationships, find opportunities to improve and develop policies, processes and thinking that will enhance the impact of Reward across the business. With a focus on retirement benefits, you’ll maintain content and guidelines through ensuring awareness and compliance, evaluating effectiveness, recommending improvements and managing updates to ensure these remain relevant and fit for purpose. You’ll ideally have knowledge of Defined Contribution pension schemes in order to support the scheme in partnership with our pension provider.
You will maintain an awareness of the Reward landscape, bringing external insights of reward trends and knowledge of current regulatory and legal requirements to the role to help ensure credibility with key stakeholders. You will input and support development of a reward portfolio that underpins the HUK culture, values and strategy and reflects the diversity within the colleague population.
We’ll definitely appreciate your strong knowledge of Reward concepts and practices (5+ years’ post qualification experience) and experience of planning and delivering Reward and pensions initiatives/projects. This will nicely compliment your understanding of commercial priorities and an ability to develop pragmatic solutions with an ability to challenge, influence and build collaborative partnerships with multiple stakeholders across our great business.
