An exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of ER/ ER Manager, 6 Month FTC, (Remote based with some travel to Bedford and there may be some additional occasional travel) within an established, busy, public sector organisation.
Your new role
As Deputy Head of ER/ ER Manager, 6 Month FTC, you will be responsible for leading and managing a large Employee Relations Team and Service within the public Sector.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing, leading and developing a team of 18 supporting all ER issues.
Leading on the delivery of the ER strategy and championing ER best practice
Coaching, supporting, mentoring, training and developing of manager capability on HR best practice.
Develop implement and monitor effective ER processes within the team.
Manage complex ER issues.
Deputise for the Head of HR
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as a Deputy Head of ER or ER Manager, ideally within the Public Sector or in a large complex organisation. You must be MCIPD Qualified or equivalent and will ideally be Degree Educated or equivalent. You will ideally have Agenda for Change experience and experience of NHS policies and procedures.
