Job Details

HR Manager required to provide a high quality human resource service to the organisation ensuring it is compliant with local and national directives and employment legislation for an nhs organisation .

  • Manage complex employee relations issues providing expert advice and guidance.
  • To ensure that the organisation operates fair employee relations processesthat run smoothly and supports and empowers managers to resolve concerns at the earliest opportunity.
  • Advise on specific organisational change or employee relations cases where issues of particular concern arise or expert advice is required.
  • Support the HR Advisor in the proactive management of sickness absence across the organisation.
  • Provide specialist written and verbal advice, guidance and support to managers and staff on all aspects of HR including, terms and conditions (Agenda for Change), job evaluation, absence management, redeployment, managing performance and capability, disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE, redundancy and employment law.
  • Ensure that processes and protocols are in place for responding to and handling appeals and employment tribunal claims.
  • Manage the recruitment team to ensure that they deliver an effective and efficient recruitment service to the organisation and prospect candidates, ensuring that we deliver in line with the required KPI’s.
  • Manage the payroll function ensuring that the payroll is processed on a monthly basis and any issues and complaints are dealt with.

To manage the operations of the occupational health and payroll provider relationship, and ensure that regular meetings are held to discuss service delivery and any issues which are identified. To directly manage the HR Advisor, Recruitment Advisor, Recruitment Administrator and payroll function. 2 days working onsite and 3 days working remotely and 5% HCAS and benefits .
