Benefits Lead for leading tech company covering EMEA region, £70,000 + lucrative benefits, Cambridge-based

Your new company
Hays are proud to be working with a leading semiconductor organisation in Cambridge who operate on a global scale. Their busy HR team are looking to appoint a Benefits Lead to cover the EMEA region.

Your new role
This a strategic role, reporting into the Benefits Senior Manager and working closely with a small HR team in the UK as well as the Global Benefits team working with colleagues looking after the US and APAC regions.

As the Benefits Lead, you will be managing and reviewing EMEA benefit renewals and any new plan proposals through Corporate approval process, as well as overseeing retirement plans in EMEA region and day-to-day plan management and collaborate with EMEA HR Business Partners. You will also be involved in procurement and invoice management for all benefit related services, ensuring benefits summaries and forms are kept up to date, as well as managing ongoing enrolments for new hires.

You will manage the annual process for pension statements in the EMEA region, as well as cooperating with Works Council committees on benefits related activities and collective agreements. When necessary, you will determine employee benefit practices by benchmarking best practices, researching industry and employment trends. You will also be involved in reviewing, streamlining and improving the Benefits processes and policies across the region.


What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will have experience of benefits management at a senior level covering the EMEA region, ideally from a tech or similar background. You will also have experience of procurement and raising purchase orders. Knowledge and understanding of various defined benefit plans in the EMEA region would be highly desirable, as would experience of analysing and simplifying benefits processes. You will also possess strong project, program and vendor management experience and have a high level of benefit plan design, regulatory and compliance knowledge.

You will be driven and self-motivated and someone who is able to prioritise and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. You will be a team player with a flexible approach and good presentation skills, as well as excellent administration skills.


What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £70,000, as well as be part of a very lucrative shares scheme and an employer contribution pension scheme of 10%.

This role is full-time in the Cambridge office.
