This prestigious hotel, occupying an unmatched location on the North Norfolk coast attracts guests from far and wide throughout the year. With circa 90-100 staff, they are seeking a proactive, operational HR Manager who'll provide comprehensive daily HR support to the Hotel Managers and Heads of Departments.
Your new role
Reporting to the proprietor, the HR Manager will be responsible for all strategic and operational people related issues. Within your new role, you'll undertake a variety of HR activities, inclusive of recruitment, staff management and training, compliance, and generalist HR support. You'll be offering day-to-day support for Duty Managers and Heads of Departments, ensuring all staff operate in line with employment legislation. Additionally, you'll be monitoring staff performance, managing discipline and attendance issues, and providing accurate and relevant employee relations advice.
What you'll need to succeed
The role will suit a seasoned HR Manager or an experienced HR Advisor seeking their first management role. Your excellent operational HR experience, in addition to your fantastic attention to detail and effective communication skills will promote your success. A CIPD qualification is desired but qualified by experience HR professionals will also be considered. As this role is office based, applicants should be within a comfortable daily commuting distance.
