I'm currently working with a large public sector organisation based in central Birmingham who are looking for a Workforce planning specialist on a permanent basis to help over haul this specialist function for them. The role will be predominately remote with maybe travel on the odd occasion to the central Birmingham office. They are looking for someone who is highly experienced in the area of workforce planning and resource planning. You will need to have a high level of experience in this area and be able to deal with forecasting for future resources, looking scientifically at volumes within the workforce and analysing effectively the supply and demand within the organisation and make sure the right skill set are within the correct areas of the business.

* Provide workforce planning and process support to the organisation's major transformation programmes as agreed.
* Advise and support HRBPs, Service Directors and their Senior Management Teams in the development of the workforce elements of service proposals/commissioning plans e.g. bids for new/expanding services and ensure that opportunities for new ways of working in support of the modernisation agenda are properly considered. In collaboration with Workforce and OD colleagues to share knowledge, expertise and information on workforce learning and development needs analysis and planning activities.
* Analyse and interpret complex workforce data and find trends and emerging workforce issues that need to be addressed through service transformation or governance processes and contribute to the development of associated plans.
