At Plan International, we are proud to have built a strong global function, with a successfully modernised and well respected People and Culture team. We are now looking for a new permanent Business Analyst to lead on managing the entire cycle of complex workforce analytics to contribute to our workforce planning, our operational execution and inform our organisational design and effectiveness. This key role will gather, analyse and communicate workforce information and interpretations, for approximately 10,000 global staff, and support effective workforce planning and facilitate strategic decision making.

In this new role as Business Analyst – People and Culture, we are looking for an experienced and qualified HRIS professional, who will work closely with the Executive Director of People & Culture, to develop capability on data analytics and reporting to support People & Culture teams globally and inform our wider business strategy. We need an individual to join us with a proven background in HR systems, with strong research, analysis and problem solving capability. Some experience in Power BI is desirable though not essential. You will be a highly credible and consultative partner to senior managers and the broader People and Culture team. As well as bringing your technical systems expertise, you will ideally possess a critical and analytical mindset, combined with strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate to all levels across our global organisation.

Some key deliverables:

  • Gather and analyse data to produce a range of accurate and timely people Management Information to provide insights and identify trends across the employee life cycle.
  • Interpret the Management Information and produce quality, concise insight to enable decision making by key business and HR stakeholders.
  • Build a core People & Culture dashboard and manage various data models need to measure local, regional, and global operational execution and organisational effectiveness.
  • Act as our subject matter expert for all people Management Information, reporting and insight requirements and to identify and make continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of our data.
  • Act as an internal consultant to People & Culture department by reviewing end to end processes linked to people data/ dashboard, advise on improvement and take the lead on process improvement.
