A vacancy exists for a HR Assistant in the HR Section based at the Union’s Head Office in Salford Quays, Manchester.

The principal duties are to: provide administrative support within the HR function, including resolving general enquiries; maintain the Unionꞌs HR database and flexi system and process new starters and leavers; undertake duties with regard to the recruitment and selection process and produce reports.
The successful applicant will possess: the ability to communicate effectively; IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office including Word and Excel; an awareness of SQL and an ability to use Human Resource Information Systems; the ability to deliver training and to undertake project work.
