SALARY RANGE £59,531 TO £70,467 PER ANNUM PRO-RATA  

28 HOURS PER WEEK, PART TIME, 22 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Saint Francis Hospice, a People First organisation, are looking to recruit a Director of People & Culture which is a key post in our organisation on a fixed term contract for 22 months initially.

Saint Francis Hospice is a specialist end of life and palliative care provider, with some in-patient facilities and 85% of our care being provided in the community.  We are supported by circa 800 Volunteers. As a caring and compassionate organisation, we pride ourselves on caring for our staff as well as our patients.  Our people are at the heart of everything we do.

The Hospice has a number of directorates from Care Provision through to Fundraising & Retail and we are looking for someone who can work across the Hospice.

This is a Board level position and a member of the Executive Team.  The role will be 28 hours per week.

The Director of People & Culture will be supported by a HR Team including 3 HR Business Partners, Payroll and Recruitment staff.

We are on the borders of London and Essex and serve the growing populations of Havering, Brentwood, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and West Essex.  We work very closely with St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney and the post holder would be expected to work with the Director of HR at St Joseph’s Hospice for collaboration.
