Permanent, 36.25 hours per week

 

JOIN our clients team as Talent & Development Manager.

WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?

The ideal candidate for this role will be educated to degree level or equivalent, graduate membership of CIPD would be advantageous. With expert knowledge in learning and talent development, you will have responsibility for influencing and driving learning and development strategy, working in close partnership with managers and directors across organisations to understand the development needs for all employees and proactively deliver a schedule of innovative learning solutions to support these needs.  With excellent project management skills, you’ll have the ability to guide with your extensive change agent record. You’ll have a strong understanding of technology and learning solutions for an ever changing backdrop, whilst developing a small team, establishing objectives for your own area and acting as the subject matter expert in their discipline. Working collaboratively with the wider HR team and other areas to achieve common goals and objectives, this position will have oversight of all learning activity across the organisation, creating a culture which supports a learning environment for all colleagues.

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Creating and developing a learning strategy that delivers programmes and solutions that are aligned with the Group’s needs
  • Managing and overseeing the development of their learning and development team.
  • Work with and support managers to develop their teams and build capability.
  • Develop a blended and flexible learning approach, utilising digital technologies and tools to create innovative learning programmes.
  • Lead on design and development of the Group’s leadership programmes
  • Work with HRBPs to design and embed effective talent management programmes and practices, supporting managers in development plans for high potential/high performing employees
  • Have oversight of the Group’s apprenticeship programme supporting the  business in identifying apprenticeship opportunities. Ensure that the business maximises the Apprenticeship Levy to its fullest extent
  • Utilise various communication channels and platforms to support knowledge share and promote learning and development
  • Anticipate and prepare for emerging needs, as well as evaluate and measure the impact of learning and development interventions
