Recruitment Business Partner

Starting salary c.£30k (pro rata)

3 days per week – 12 months temporary contract

Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn

We are looking for an experienced and talented recruitment specialist who can bring their knowledge and expertise to our team and make a real difference to our recruitment and appointment process.

You will be able to quickly build effective working relationships with hiring managers working for both the Council and Alive West Norfolk to understand job requirements and the challenges faced in recruiting to their vacancies. From this you will develop a mix of innovative approaches and more traditional recruitment methods to maximise the effectiveness of our recruitment process, attracting high quality candidates to our job roles.  You will also provide support to hiring managers with shortlisting and the development of selection processes, including attendance at interview and overseeing the job offer process for the successful candidate.

You will have a minimum of two years’ experience of recruitment and selection, including interviewing and be part CIPD qualified (or equivalent). You will have experience of developing advertising campaigns and of working with advertising agencies, with a working knowledge of employment and equality law as they apply to recruitment and selection processes. With excellent communication skills you will be able to manage your time effectively handling a varied and busy workload.

If this sounds like you, we would love to receive your application! We consider that this role would involve working three days per week but will consider applications from those with the relevant experience wishing to work slightly more or slightly less hours per week.
