We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Leadership Development and Performance Manager. A key part in deploying the council’s Learning and Development strategy is to develop our leaders so they deliver the best outcomes for the residents of Derbyshire.
Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development, you will play a significant role in enabling a high-performance culture aligned to our enterprising council strategy. You will manage the leadership development and performance management team to further develop and embed leadership development initiatives and our performance management approaches across the council.
You will be an expert in this field with a track record of supporting complex transformational and cultural change through the successful and creative deployment of leadership development and performance management approaches in a large organisation. You will have experience of managing the end to end training cycle, from training needs analysis to the development/procurement of solutions for leadership development; and developing strategies and policies to address and embed performance management.
You will have an ability to coach and influence and experience of developing and maintaining collaborative and inclusive working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Highly motivated and resilient, you will have a proactive approach with a focus on customer requirements and service needs.
