We have one full time and one part time opportunity within the Learning and Development team for a Talent Development Lead. In this role you will lead on a range of talent management and development initiatives to identify, attract, acquire, develop and retain talent to meet the current and future needs of the Council.

Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, you will support departments to develop, implement and coordinate a range of talent programmes from induction, apprenticeships and early careers talent pipelines through to talent reviews, succession planning and career pathways.

It's an exciting time to join the team as we develop the talent agenda across the Council and is a great opportunity to join a specialist talent team.

You will have experience of developing talent programmes in a large complex organisation as either a talent specialist or a HR/ L&D generalist with talent focussed project experience and will have a good understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and levy. You will be proactive and customer focussed, demonstrating effective relationship management experience.
