Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, we are currently recruiting a HR professional with experience of leading and managing a team that will support the whole organisation in delivering our ambitious plans, who will develop and implement our new People Strategy and workforce plan. We are seeking an experienced leader with the ability to inspire and engage others, who can influence change and build relationships across the organisation and with partners. You will lead in the provision of an integrated, high performing, customer focused HR service to deliver, implement, and monitor HR change management projects and provide professional HR advise and support to colleagues across the Council, including Directors, the Chief Executive and elected Members.

We are not looking for specific sector experience, but are open to people’s backgrounds. What we are interested in is someone who can lead major cultural change, underpinned by sound HR advice and practice. If this is you, we would love to hear from you.
