Leadership & Talent Development Manager - £45k – Home working/Midlands

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional to join a forward thinking organisation at a time of ambitious growth and commitment to Talent. The overall aim of the Talent function is to effectively identify and develop the careers of high potential individuals, whilst equipping leaders and managers to be the best they can be.

The role purpose is to:

Guide, advise, coach and challenge managers and senior leaders

Work closely with the HR business partnering team to help improve the capability of managers and leaders

Equip managers and leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to maximise their own contribution

Provide effective and quality coaching to senior leaders

Support the design and delivery of a leadership development curriculum framework and topics (on-line and face to face)

Ensure that the existing learning content is operating effectively

Design new content for the leadership population and bespoke solutions where required

Support & contribute to the annual talent review

Lead on the identification and development of high potential talent across all levels

The person – ideally you will have/be:

An experienced L&D professional and qualified coach

Possess a passion for leadership development to ensure that learning leads to performance change

Be experienced in influencing & challenging managers, senior leaders, stakeholders and HRBPs

Have the ability to build effective relationships to support a consultancy approach

Be comfortable and credible in front of managers and senior leaders

Be able to add value to the wider HR team, beyond the confines of your role

Have experience in creating and delivering leadership development solutions at all levels

Have the ability to provide leadership capability consultancy to managers and leaders

Be able to challenge solutions that the business may have already identified

Have experience of directly managing people.
