Your new company
Our client in supply chain & logistics are currently seeking an experienced HR manager to run their new site in Leicestershire supported by a team of advisors and a regional HR Director.

Your new role
Alongside a team of 3 advisors, supporting the new site grow to 500+ employees you will be supporting the HR Director initially predominately with recruitment and employee relations. You will be working closely and consultatively with the site management team to ensure HR objectives & business unit objectives and aligned and provide HR advise and support on a wide range of strategic and operational Human Resources issues, with duties including:


* Assist in promoting and driving the employee engagement agenda
* Develop, Implement and provide all the HR KPIs needed for the site
* Work with operational team to devise development and succession plans
* Support the HR Department on implementation and update of company-wide HR policies
* Responsible for maintaining an accurate database of site employees
* Responsible for managing the relationship with the temporary staff suppliers (3 on-site)
* Facilitate the management of all disciplinary and employment law related situations
* Develop and coach line managers in effective people management activities

This is a full time, predominately site based role where flexible hybrid working is available where appropriate offering a competitive basic salary of £38,000 + 10% bonus.

What you'll need to succeed
For this site the client are looking for experienced HR Managers who have a wealth of experience in recruitment and retention and are experienced working in fast paced, high volume environments. Prior experience in logistics would be preferred but not essential as well as ability to work to critical deadlines supporting the site team. You will have prior experience in case management at all disciplinary stages, experience in developing employee engagement plans, talent management processes and succession planning.

Ideally you will have prior experience managing a high-volume temporary worker site and have experience working with recruitment agencies as this site as 3 agencies on site, as well as overall excellent people management skills. You will demonstrate ability to influence at all levels and drive change within the organisation.
