HR Business Partner FTC Up to 12 Months Maternity Cover Glasgow Up to £33558 per annum

Your new company

A HR department within Further Education are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team in Glasgow. This is a fixed term contract for up to 12 months and it is a maternity cover post. On site working is expected however blended working may be considered.

Your new role

As part of the Human Resources Management team you to provide professional HRM advice, guidance and support and a comprehensive service. The role will have a particular focus on assisting us to develop and improve our attraction, recruitment and selection activity.

You will act as a single point of contact for employees and managers within your area of responsibility to provide professional advice, guidance in relation to Human Resources Management.

You will deliver process improvement to existing attraction, recruitment and selection approaches, systems and processes. This role is an HR operational role but with a focus on the end-to-end recruitment and selection activity.

You will assist in the development of human resources IT systems to support the recruitment and selection administration processes ensuring adherence to data and compliance legislation and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in:


* Providing professional advice, guidance in relation to Human Resources Management (HRM) at an operational level.
* Contributing to strategy development and operational delivery.
* Recruitment and selection processes and systems, development, and delivery.
* Computerised Human Resource systems and development of same to support the recruitment and selection activity.
* Resolving problems with successful outcomes.
* Planning, organising and delivering to deadlines.
* Working within an Education or Local Government environment (desirable).

You will have knowledge in attraction, recruitment and selection approaches, systems and processes; Human Resource policies, practices and procedures; working knowledge of employment law and its application in the workplace; and working knowledge of Human Resource systems.

You will also be CIPD qualified (SCQF Level 8); and have evidence of appropriate CPD.
