Your new company

My client based part of the NHS and based in St Helens, is seeking a professional resourcing Manager to join their team on a temporary basis until Spring of next year.
You will be based in St Helens working with a fantastic team

Your new role

Establish client relationships to monitor performance and to inform priorities for the team.

The post holder will lead a proactive and committed team as part of the Lead Employer vaccination temporary workforce function. With responsibility for recruitment, retention, onboarding, rostering and payroll for the vaccination bank and volunteer services, the successful applicant will ensure that processes are as streamlined and efficient as possible whilst offering excellent candidate/worker experience.
Reporting to the Resourcing Manager for the vaccination programme you will be responsible for the co-ordination of these key activities alongside the monitoring and management of team performance against a suite of defined key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities/duties:


* To oversee the provision of a comprehensive, proactive and efficient recruitment service to the Lead Employer bank in response to demand.
* To Support the Resourcing Manager in the provision of vaccination workforce data, conducting appropriate initial analysis as required.
* To ensure that all resourcing practices are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and NHS Employment Standards including Employment Rights Act and UKVI Guidance.
* To manage the weekly payroll submission, liaising with Trust payroll team in terms of cross-checking timesheet data with the weekly payroll upload.
* To undertake regular audits of workloads ensuring comparable distribution and adherence to requirements of the relevant Trust/Lead Employer Policy
* To champion the Equality and Diversity agenda and proactively embed the principles into the processes and procedures of the teams.
* To manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering and retention issues and escalate to the Resourcing Manager as required.
* To ensure that teams are effectively managed ensuring adequate cross cover as required.
* Work with, and build relationships with key stakeholders (eg agencies, representatives from PCNs/SAIS (Primary Care Networks, School Age Immunisation Service), bank workers, Mass Vaccination Service management team, etc) to ensure high standards of service delivery and identify improvements where necessary.


What you'll need to succeed


* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
* Working towards (or willingness to) CIPD level 5 qualification
* Evidence of CPD
* Experience of working within NHS and use of NHS HR systems eg ESR, Trac, Patchwork, e-Roster (desirable)
* Operational recruitment experience, preferably from NHS or healthcare organisation
* Supervisory/line management experience
* Within commutable travel of St Helens
