The National Church Institutions (NCIs) are a collective group of bodies that together support the mission and ministries of the Church by working with those who serve in parishes, dioceses, schools and other ministries, and with partners at a national and international level.
We are a support centre providing an astonishing diversity of expertise, advice, guidance and services to the whole Church, supporting Church leaders in their national roles and enabling the work of the dioceses and cathedrals. We also look after of the Church's historic legacy, ensuring that these funds are used wisely to contribute to the future of the Church.
A high priority for us is supporting the work of the wider Church through the delivery of a programme of change to support growth through a range of initiatives. Together we have recently embarked on refreshed work focused on culture, encompassing leadership. We aim for everyone who works in the NCIs to feel they belong and are valued for who they are and what they contribute.
HR Head of Belonging, Leadership and Engagement

£60,00 to £65,000, full time equivalent per annum (4 or 5 day week available)
Hybrid working with ability to be available in London on a regular basis
Our new HR Head of Belonging, Leadership and Engagement will be joining us at a key point in our culture change programme.
Building on our existing belonging and inclusion work, the HR Head of Belonging, Leadership and Engagement will lead on initiatives that deliver long term and strategic impact. Working in a broad and diverse environment, the HR Head of Belonging, Leadership and Engagement will lead on a breadth of work, including embedding our new values, implementing our second-stage belonging and inclusion work, developing our leadership support and overseeing our wellbeing strategy. The HR Head of Belonging, Leadership and Engagement will work closely with senior stakeholders with a wide breadth of fantastic skills and our new Racial Justice Unit. They will also be supported to progress in their career.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys building strong, trusted relationships with a broad range of people, who is excited by the opportunity to make a difference through a co-creation and collaborative approach.
You will bring a track record of leading on equity, diversity and inclusion work as well as experience of organisational culture change. You will be creative and enjoy exploring new ideas, able to utilise strong listening and rounded communication skills and will bring a natural respect for a diverse range of beliefs.
