HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Norwich/Ipswich (hybrid working)
Salary - £37,666 to £40,837 pa (dependent on skills and experience)
This new, senior and important role, will suit you if you are an experienced HR professional with a deep-seated understanding and interest in people in their many contexts, you have capacity for interpreting and explaining laws and regulations and you have a desire to expand your horizons into the Church of England and/or the not-for-profit sector.
The key purpose of this role relates to the delivery of a high-level comprehensive, efficient and professional HR service to managers, staff and clergy in the Dioceses of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and Norwich. The HR Manager, reporting to the Chief Executive, will take ownership of the day to day running of the HR function for the organisations and equip and empower managers to be confident and competent practitioners. Responsibility for creating and delivering projects and driving strategic work related to our people are also key aspects of the role.
This role is for 35 hours per week over 5 days per week, with core working hours of 9am – 5pm; there is a contributory pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement. Diocese of Norwich will act as the employer with services provided to St Edmundsbury and Ipswich through a service level agreement.
