Henlee Resourcing has been retained by this niche consumer brand manufacturer and eCommerce business based near Malmesbury to search for their new Manager of HR, People and Culture. This is a new role that has been created due to exceptional Business growth!! This is a superb stand-alone HR Manager role which could be 3-4 days or full time with hybrid working and reports to a progressive MD.

We have been tasked to search for a true end to end HR generalist whose experience covers the recruiting of all levels of staff, the development of people, culture and organisation, employment law and policy development / implementation, employee engagement, compensation and benefits and welfare.

Core / Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and On-boarding
Develops and carries out all company recruiting and on-boarding processes, to ensure they are consistent, support development of the company's culture and attainment of a high-performing motivated workforce.

Learning and Development
Carries out learning needs assessment including new employee inductions and leadership development
Assists with the development of and monitors the spending of the corporate training budget.
Provides an up to date and relevant employee handbook.

People, Culture and Organisation Development
Manages succession planning, high performance employee development, key employee retention.
Enables successful employee communication and feedback through meetings and digital channels as relevant.
Supports manages in the process of developing job designs, along with the required competencies and capabilities.

Law
Leads company compliance with all existing legal requirements including any related to the equal opportunity, including age discrimination, disability rights etc., working time directive, family related Leave, flexible working, disciplinary procedure and grievance procedure, redundancy and retirement.
Protects the interests of employees as well as the company in line with employment legislation.

Employee Engagement
Establishes employee relations and engagement practices for a positive employer-employee relationship.
Coaches people managers on communication, feedback and recognition to ensure all employees are managed and developed in a way that is consistent, reflects company culture and commercial objectives.
Investigates employee concerns or grievances.
Advises managers on the disciplinary process.
Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.

Compensation and Benefits
Leads competitive market research to establish pay levels that help to recruit and retain high performing staff.
Monitors all pay for effectiveness and cost containment.
Leads the planning and implementation of the companies KPI related bonus scheme.
Regularly reviews employee compensation and benefits to ensure they are in line with the company's purpose, culture and commercial objectives.

HR & Payroll Software
Recommending, developing and implementing appropriate software to collect and store employee information and improve the way employee training, benefits and communication are delivered.

We are looking for somebody who is a "can do" / pragmatic generalist who possesses excellent interpersonal relationship building skills - ideally gained from within manufacturing, e-commerce / retail or logistics. In an ideal world you will also be MCIPD qualified but it's your experience and pragmatic / progressive approach that is of most importance.
