About the role:

Working as part of our newly formed Talent Team, you will play a critical part in the growth of our business by ensuring colleague vacancies are filled in order to support the outstanding experience that our learners receive. You will utilise various tools such as CV databases, LinkedIn and your own network to proactively resource candidates and promote the fantastic opportunities at Paragon Skills.

You will grow and develop a talent bank of suitably qualified and engaged candidates across the country who are ready to move through the recruitment process when required. 

In addition to this, you will build and maintain excellent working relationships across the business, providing world class support to the Talent Team’s internal customers. You will also work closely with the Talent Coordinator to ensure our candidates have an amazing recruitment experience with us.

What will you be doing?

  • Build a strong network of candidates primarily within the apprenticeship/ work based learning sector to fill our colleague vacancies quickly, effectively and within agreed targets and budget
  • Regularly update recruitment adverts on a variety of different websites including Indeed, LinkedIn and our website, ensuring that adverts do not expire and have suitable budget behind them where required
  • Grow and develop a talent bank of suitably qualified and engaged candidates, maintaining regular contact with them to keep them involved and excited about upcoming opportunities at Paragon Skills
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, ensuring candidates are kept up to date with any progress, booked for interview quickly and fed back to swiftly, to provide a fantastic candidate experience at all times
  • Effectively plan targeted recruitment campaigns to fill high volume vacancies such as our Graduate Group training programme
  • Screen CVs and arrange and conduct first stage telephone interviews, providing feedback to hiring managers to allow them to make informed recruitment decisions
  • Be an ambassador for the Talent Team by supporting hiring managers in second stage interviews by taking notes or assisting with interview tasks such as micro-teaches and presentations
  • Work closely with our Marketing Team to create engaging social media content to develop the Paragon Skills employer reputation and brand
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people you are responsible for or come into contact with
  • Be aware of GDPR legislation and comply with all data protection requirements

 

 

What we need from you:

  • Significant experience working within a high volume recruitment environment, either internal recruitment or within a recruitment agency
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System – knowledge of Cezanne would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of effectively using LinkedIn and other social media to promote colleague vacancies and network within your sector
  • Successful track record of using CV databases to proactively resourcer candidates and fill vacancies
  • Excellent communication skills, written, in person and via telephone/ Teams with the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues and candidate at all levels
  • Exceptional administrative skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records at all times
  • Confident and advanced user of MS Office packages including Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision – experience of working from home is preferred 
  • Ambitious and target orientated with a drive to succeed in everything that you do

  • GCSE Maths and English Level C/4 or above
