HR Coordinator | Bolton | £28,000 | 9-12 Month FTC

A public sector organisation in Greater Manchester seeking an established HR professional to join the team on a 9-12 month FTC, to start as soon as possible. The organisations mission is to provide high quality care to local people to help individuals live their lives to the fullest.

Your New Role

In your new role you will support the head of HR to deliver a high-quality HR support service across the organisation. You will contribute to policy development, defining procedures and supporting managers in their roles. In doing so, you will be helping the organisation to invest in its people to achieve the best outcomes for the people that they support.

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and have the ability to excel in a fast paced, changing environment. The successful candidate will be a HR professional with previous experience dealing with the below.

Main Responsibilities:
To offer HR support including;

* Maintaining records of personnel-related data, ensuring all employment requirements are met, whilst facilitating all human resources processes.
* Support managers in operating the HR policy framework e.g. Recruitment & Selection, Grievance, Disciplinary, Managing Absence and Managing Capability etc.
* Assist with performance management procedures.
* Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
* Keep up to date with organisation developments in line with the latest HR trends and best practice
* Processing staff terminations and staff changes
* Assisting with the review/writing of HR policies and procedures
* Responding to internal and external HR related enquiries or requests
* Support the recruitment/hiring process ensuring all employment checks have been completed and issuing employment contracts etc and overseeing the HR administration
* Contribute to specified projects as required
* Attend meetings, takes notes/minutes and produce appropriate final documentation.
* Ensure that information on the HR site on the intranet is up to date and support the development of the site.

What You will need:

* Great organisational skills and be able to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* CIPD Level 3
* Ability to handle data with confidentiality
* Competent at using Microsoft Office packages, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. (Including other IT systems).
* Good numeracy and English skills.
