A well-known London NHS organisation is looking for an interim Senior HR Employee Relations Advisor (band 6 and 7) to join them on a 3-6-month basis, hybrid working.

The purpose of this tole is to provide an effective employee relations service to managers and staff in dealing with all aspects of employee relations including complex cases for staff groups covered by Agenda for Change.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Being part of a team actively contributing to the Human Resources directorate to provide an effective, efficient, and quality ER service.
  • To manage a caseload of employee relations cases, liaising directly with managers to bring cases to conclusion in accordance with policy timescales.
  • To ensure case delays and barriers are escalated to relevant members of the HR Management team and Divisions as required.
  • To support managers and staff to ensure Trust policies are correctly and consistently applied and used to improve the quality of employee relations throughout the organisation.
  • To undertake complex investigations in relation to all aspects of employment practices.
  • Support the HR Business Partner with the workforce management of organisational change within the Divisions including advice on TUPE related issues.
  • Maintain a good level of knowledge of current employment law, advise managers appropriately when dealing with employee relations issues to ensure the Trust is compliant with legislation.

The successful Candidate will have:

  • Ability to build credible relationship with stakeholders at all levels quickly.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Effective influencing skills.
  • Proven track record dealing with complex ER cases.
  • NHS experience desirable.
