The Role

We are looking for a passionate Head of People and Culture to lead delivery of our fourth strategic goal: Invest in our people, become an employer of choice and a beacon of good work in hospitality.

A few of the - Specific responsibilities include:

Establish the House as a beacon of Good Work

  • Ensuring we have a fair and transparent pay structure across the House
  • Developing clear pathways for progression, with progression plans in place for all staff
  • Ensure stability and security of contracted hours for hospitality team
  • Embedding the above with attention to work/life balance and emotional wellbeing
  • Pursue and retain external validation for our practices.

Lead the evolution of our culture and values

  • Developing a clear set of expected behaviors aligned to our values and embedding these across the organisation
  • Ensuring consistent high quality line management and support across the organisation
  • Embedding our Inclusion strategy throughout all our people processes and interactions
  • Champion and embed collaborative cross-team working across the organisation

Support and advise the Senior Leadership Team on workforce planning and pay

  • Develop and implement a fair and transparent pay and progression policy for the House
  • Support succession planning at all levels in the organisation
  • Keep abreast of and advise the SLT on benchmarking and other reward structures in all relevant sectors
  • Understand and explore new models of pay in the hospitality sector
