Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche manufacturing business based in Swindon to recruit a talented Senior HR Advisor / HR Generalist on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Site HR Manager, the purpose of the role is to efficiently and professionally support the Company's HR Function in line with key business objectives, helping to make the HR Department a highly cost-effective, valued and well-regarded resource for Managers, Employees and Associates alike.

Key Accountabilities:

* Provide advice, support, coaching and feedback to Managers on talent management activities including performance management, training and development, organisational capability assessment, organisational change programmes, strategy and planning
* Support Managers to facilitate effective leadership and team engagement (including feedback on leadership behaviours) through working with Talent Management to deliver coaching and development interventions as appropriate
* Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to drive sourcing and recruitment strategies and processes including review and approval of requisitions, effectively managing headcount, developing appropriate interview tools when required, participation on interview panels and execution of the new Employee on-boarding activities
* Provide a dedicated HR advisory service for a range of employment and employee relations matters including conduct and capability, grievance and disciplinary matters, redundancy and restructuring, absence and health issues, and family friendly policies
* Provide timely support during investigation and disciplinary processes and recommend appropriate action, participating in disciplinary hearings where necessary
* Support Managers with the performance review process, including identifying and developing promotable talent
* Prepare HR management information to gain greater insight into the trends and to support continuous improvement in the management and monitoring of sickness absence, performance, retention etc
* Pro-actively provide appropriate recommendations to Line Managers to address identified issues
* Prepare Occupational Health management referral paperwork and provide advice to Managers and Environmental Health & Safety as necessary

Key Skills & Experience:

* Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven generalist HR experience at Senior Advisor level
* Understanding and practical application of UK Employment legislative framework
* Evidence strong experience in HR processes and procedures, e.g. performance management, restructuring, redundancy, TUPE and harmonisation activity, talent selection, leavers, absence management etc
* Ability to work on own initiative to deliver projects and implement new initiatives
* Proven ability to navigate and manage Employee relations issues
* Ability to identify development needs and suggest appropriate resources and solutions
* Experience of working effectively in teams
* CIPD Qualified or equivalent experience
* Bachelors' degree or equivalent
* Ability to navigate complex matrix structure organisational relationships - confident in collaborating and Stakeholder engagement and communication
* Ability to keep sensitive information confidential and secure
* Travel to other sites as may be required within the UK
