Human Resources Manager (HRM)

Salary: Grade 8, £43,434 - £51,798 per annum

Location: Luton (requires some travel to other campuses)

We are seeking an additional HR Manager, ideally MCIPD qualified, to join our team and lead a portfolio at an exciting time for the University.

We are in the process of implementing a new People and Culture Strategy and seeking to deliver an ambitious change agenda. You will play a major part in shaping the future of our people practices and the quality of the HR Service. You will have some experience of delivering HR services as a business partner and will be able to provide advice, support, and guidance for a wide range of issues including employee relations, resourcing, performance management, and organisational change projects.

You will be genuinely passionate about developing an outstanding HR support function and will be able to demonstrate that you can:

•             Prioritise effectively to deliver results both as a strategic and a hands-on People business partner.

 

•             Influence, drive decisions and recommendations with data.

•             Influence change initiatives, develop change management plans, and manage stakeholders before and after changes occur.

 

•             Effectively coach at all levels of the organisation and demonstrate success in driving career retention and rewards programs.

 

•             Be a passionate team player with a drive to create a positive work environment.

•             Have excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation and presentation skills.
