My client are one of the fastest growing businesses of their type in the UK and a leader in their industry. They are a distributer and retailer who account for nearly a quarter of the national market.
Your new role
As a Learning and Development Advisor (L&D), you will cover a colleague who is due to go on maternity leave for 18 months in April and you will report into the HR Director.
The role will be accountable for the learning and development initiatives across all divisions of the business, supporting bespoke and engaging L&D activities to the varied roles within the business, including Retail, Logistics, Wholesale and Central teams. This role will involve some element of project management and the key functions include: the design and delivery of webinars/face-to-face training, designing and managing eLearning, managing internal apprenticeships and carrying out all administration relating to L&D. This role encompasses
all administration and delivery tasks; therefore, it's suitable for an individual who relishes owning the whole process, right from managing the bookings through to the delivery of a course.
Working hours: 24 / week over 3 days, 8.30am-5pm. Preferably Wednesday and Thursday, but flexible for the right person. This role can offer a hybrid working week between the office in Winchester and home (2 home vs 1 office most weeks). Occasional travel may be required in the UK only.
What you'll need to succeed
This opportunity will suit someone who has experience in a standalone L&D / training role or as part of a wider L&D / HR function. You must have designed and delivered engaging training courses and managed L&D administration (e.g. bookings). You must also have recorded / managed ROI (e.g. training feedback / stats).
What you'll get in return
This role offers £25,000 pro rata to 24 hours (FTE of £41,000 vs 40 hours), with flexible working and additional benefits including: 25 days holiday +BH's, generous discounts and free onsite parking.
