People Analytics Partner

We are currently recruiting for a People Analytics Partner to join our newly formed People Data & Analytics team within the HR Function. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our HR and business colleagues in using leading class people data, analytics and insight to provide evidence based insight to inform our people strategy priorities, programmes and activities and measure their progress, impact and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner; with stakeholders and colleagues to provide analytics and insight based consultancy and advice on innovations and improvements that can be realised through the implementation of analytics technologies
  • Consult; Act as consultant and strategic partner in impact assessing, proposing and designing analytics solutions using industry best practice and innovation, combined with understanding the optionality available within and across all people data sources
  • Data Evangelist; Leverage data scientist techniques and a visualisation platform, hypothesis building and storytelling to proactively deliver insights and trends to the organisation, leveraging multiple data sources to address business challenges and strategies
  • Story telling with data; Simplify and translate data and insights into meaningful visualisations and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making for a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership
  • Strategy; Contribute to the delivery of and shaping of our People Data & Analytics strategy, and contribute to the delivery of an on-going HRBP/People Function wide culture and education programme around data interpretation and predictions
  • Customer Focus; Align research priorities with business priorities and take a customer-focused mind-set in working with stakeholders
  • Academic; Leverage academic expertise and knowledge of HR industry and People Analytics trends to address practical business challenges
  • Development; A constant learner, active listener, and teacher to advance People Analytics, and our organisation

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience of providing consultancy partnering services to senior HR and business leaders in the field of HR/People Analytics
  • Experience of simplifying the most technical information into more easily understood terms using storytelling and data visualisation techniques for a wide range of audiences to support business decision making
  • Being able to proactively recognise and respond to people related business issues
  • Certifications - Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

  • Project / Programme Management - Plans, initiates, executes, controls and closes projects /programmes /portfolios of work in a disciplined manner. Tracks and manages resources, timelines, costs, deliverable's and performance.
  • Stakeholder Management - Interprets and influences both the external and internal environments by creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
  • Think Strategically - Linking the long term vision for Phoenix Group to daily work. Considering what needs to be done in the future to make the organisation fit to deliver results for the customers and our stakeholders.

Interviews and Onboarding

As we begin to open up our office doors and move into our hybrid way of working our interviews can be held either remotely or in one of our office locations. You will be told in advance how and where this will take place. All of our Onboarding is managed remotely with the exception in obtaining your right to work documents. If you are successful in the role, we will require you to visit your new office ahead of joining with us. This will be managed and organised by the hiring manager or nominated person.

We have in place a strong virtual support network to ensure new colleagues are supported and developed as they navigate their first few months with us
