Apprenticeship Coordinator

Your new company
Our not-for-profit organisation based in North Leicestershire are currently seeking an apprenticeship manager, initially on a 12-month contract with a view to becoming permanent, to lead the project in setting up the organisation as an Apprentice Employer.

Your new role
Supported by the L&D Manger you will be responsible for the Apprenticeship Levy budget of c. £120,000 your role is to assist in leading the project, liaise with the required agencies and internal departments/partners to set up and maintain this organisation on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). You will be responsible for leading the day to day coordination of apprenticeship programmes, supporting the recruitment of apprentices, oversee the Digital Levy Account and provide data on all aspects of apprentice programmes and associated reports.

This is an excellent new opportunity to work for a not-for-profit organisation and assist in building and leading their apprentice role. Due to the organisations budgets and the role being brand-new it will initially be a contract with the possibility to become the permanent head of the apprentice scheme or not, with details to be discussed at interview.

This is a full time role with the flexibility to work remotely or Hybrid from the Leicestershire HQ and very occasional travel for stakeholder meetings (once a month).

What you'll need to succeed
The organisation are specifically looking for candidates who have prior experience setting up and maintaining an organisation as an Apprentice Employer on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) and understand all the steps, governance and insurances involved. You will need to be able to work independently on this project with minimal supervision but with the support of the L&D and established Apprentice scheme.
