HR Business Partner, hybrid perm role based near Stroud, up to £55k pa + 10% bonus and £500 car allowance.

Your new role
You will act as a HR Business Partner for HR Support in the UK and Ireland (circa 150 FTE) for across 5 locations and 4 businesses including manufacturing. You work collaboratively with the business to understand their agenda and to drive it forward with appropriate HR strategies and tactics. Moreover, you will act as employee champion and change agent; assess and anticipate HR-related needs and will deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organisation. You are also responsible for the people development. Together with the management you make sure that we keep improving our operational organization. Responsibilities

* Serve as a liaison between employees, management, and Human Resources providing consultation relevant to Human Resource issues, policies, practices, procedures, and employment laws and regulations.
* Responsible for managing and owning the performance management system, to include data information implementation, performance evaluations, performance development plans, and performance improvement plans.
* Execution of the standardised HR processes in UK and Ireland (HR System, Recruitment, Leadership and Talent Management & Compensation and Benefit)
* Design and implementation of local policy and non-standard process development, in compliance with local regulations.
* Responsible for maintaining and auditing employee data (business supported only) within HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
* Partner with COE (Centre of Expertise) functions; Talent Acquisition, Operations & Compensation on various process, projects and programs implementation.
* Coordination of labour cost analysis and headcount budgeting, forecasting & actual data in collaboration with Finance and management teams.
* Supervises the common and sensitive personal data processing system by organising and supervising each application phase, in compliance with personal data protection laws in force.
* Implementation and management of student employment scheme across the different business in the UK and Ireland.
* Member of the Senior Management team, responsible to the operational and strategic decisions of the business.
* Responsible for processing of payroll in the UK and working with finance team on the Irish payroll.
* Management of the HR apprentice.

What you'll need to succeed
This opportunity will suit an experienced HR Business Partner who takes ownership and is result driven. With your emphatic and motivating ability, you will succeed in finding the best solutions collaboratively. Ideally you are will focused in improving employee satisfaction by simplifying processes and procedures.
Key requirements:

* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent ideally, CIPD Chartered Membership desirable.
* Experience in the position of HR Manager or HR Business Partner, supporting multiple sites, preferably in an international environment.
* Strong knowledge in employment law and legislation and experience in its application, mitigating risk around decision making an implementation.
