HR Operations Manager, Insurance, London


Your new company

A boutique London based reinsurance firm, who are currently sat at 500 headcount across all operations. Based in Leadenhall with flexible working options available.

Your new role

The HR Operations manager will drive operational excellence within the and HR team, supporting the UK business units to ensure service delivery is optimally executed in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.


* HR Operational Reporting on things such as sickness, annual leave, etc
* Strategy and implementation of HR projects Support L&D activity, including the apprenticeship programme
* Work with HR team to review, map out and improve global processes and procedures within HR Review and renew company policies in line with stature and best process and ensure HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) are kept up to date in line with process changes
* Manage payroll requirements and process for the international outsourced payroll teams
* Maintenance and Keep track of renewal timelines and act as the key point of contact for colleague benefits in conjunction with local outsourced partners
* Coordinate all new hire onboarding activity to include scheduling induction, ensuring all onboarding paperwork is filed appropriately and training is completed
* Manage administration of employee off-boarding, liaising with internal departments and external suppliers as required
* Administer and update Workday, including system enhancements, ensuring accuracy of data
* Be the first point of contact for auditors / work with finance throughout payroll audits

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in the HR operations manager role, you will be a forward thinking, proactive individual who thrives whilst working at pace.Relationship building with external stakeholders and employees is key to be successful. You will be the face of the HR team and your role is key within colleague experience.

Key things you'll have experience and skills in:


* Strong recent permanent work history in HR operations (Payroll, HR lifecycle, benefits, etc)
* Excellent communication skills CIPD Qualified
* Proven experience of Workday and reporting functions
