Job Details
Large public sector organisation based in Wythenshawe seeking a HR Officer to join their busy, collaborative team, on a permanent basis.
Your New Role
Within your new role, you will support the director of HR & OD and the HR Business Partner's with a provision of a high quality, proactive and efficient HR service to both managers and staff within the organisation.
There are 6 divisions across the organisation. Within your new role you will support 2 divisions, (around 2000 employees). You will provide advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of employment issues, including bullying and harassment, grievance, disciplinary, performance and attendance management, ensuring that problems are identified and resolved quickly, effectively and fairly and that throughout the process there is effective communication with staff and their representatives.
Your main focus within your new role will be Employee Relations support, specifically sickness. It's essential that you have previous experience dealing with low level ER and are able to hit the ground running. You will also support the HR Managers on more complex cases of sickness, performance and disciplinary as required, attending meetings when appropriate, escalating where necessary.
What You'll Need
* CIPD Level 3 (Level 5 desirable)
* Previous experience in a HR Generalist role
* Demonstrable track record of working as part of a busy HR team successfully
* Experience dealing with low level ER casework
* Strong communication skills - the ability to liase with stakeholders at all levels
* The ability to manipulate data to showcase statistics
* Able to work in a fast-paced busy environment balancing multiple tasks
