Location: We are developing new, hybrid ways of working. There is currently a requirement to spend a minimum of 40% of the working week in our Central London office.

About this role

Our vision is that the best possible health and care is available to all. Use your OD expertise to help us achieve our ambitions.

This is an exciting time to join us as Organisational Development Manager at The King’s Fund. You’ll have an important role in helping us achieve cultural and wider transformational change as we continue to evolve our new ways of working, post-pandemic.

About us

The King's Fund is an independent charitable organisation working to improve health and care in England. We have a high profile, strong reputation and excellent track record in influencing health and care policy, providing leadership development and hosting high quality events.

Your role

We’re looking for a skilled OD practitioner to lead the development of a range of OD interventions, leadership and management development and learning activities. You’ll work with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation, engaging at an early stage of desired business changes, advising on cultural and organisational capability and co-creating the OD solutions that improve the experience our people have of working at the Fund.  You’ll work in partnership with the Director of HR in developing the Fund’s HR service and approach to people management, ensuring our OD and HR work are closely aligned.

About you

With substantial experience as either an OD specialist or HR generalist with an OD focus, you’ll have a track record in supporting organisational and culture change, combining passion and enthusiasm with pragmatism and a solutions-focused approach.  Able to influence and inspire others, you’ll share our values and feel motivated by our current work and strategic ambitions.

Here at the Fund, we actively encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds, people from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBT+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge as we recognise that diversity makes us stronger.
