This is an exciting time to join the Human Resources and Organisational Development team in the Greater London Authority in our new headquarters at City Hall, The Royal Docks, Newham. As a senior member of the HR team, reporting directly to our new HR Director, you will have the opportunity to use the full breadth of your operational and strategic HR expertise to support the Greater London Authority’s aim to be an exemplar, diverse and inclusive employer in London.
You will be responsible for delivering a range of strategic and operational HR services, building successful relationships with senior managers and providing customer focused, professional advice, coaching and solutions in response to the GLAs priorities and the new world of work.
You will ideally be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and demonstrate significant relevant senior level experience. Your track record will include previous HR Business partnering experience, health and well-being, employee relations advice within a complex organisation, managing organisational change programmes, contributing to policy development and a proven ability to win the trust and confidence of senior leaders. You will be experienced in leading a team to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be based at City Hall, in the Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
